We aim to continuously focus on Jesus here at PBC. We live in a world full of distraction. Our singular focus—to be a simple, authentic representation of Jesus Christ—helps us cast aside distraction.

*NEW* Middle Youth Summer All 5-8th graders are invited to our Middle Youth summer gatherings at the Hughes house every other Wednesday night beginning 6.8 from 6:30-8pm. These Life-Group-style get togethers are full of fellowship, Bible time, and prayer. We're spending the summer in Genesis 1 and celebrating God's good design for the world, men, and women. Connect: Megan Hughes
High School Youth Every week at 9:30am in the Education Wing. Join Pastor Billy and team for community, connection, and Christ. Connect: Pastor Billy. 
Kids Life Group! Every Sunday morning during the message we'll gather to grow in Christ and community. We're spending the summer in Genesis 1 and celebrating God's good design for the world and humanity. Our memory verse is Genesis 1:1. Memorize it with us! 

Serve

PBC Ministry Spotlight: His Hands Free Clinic A local medical clinic that extends beyond traditional medicine, His Hands Free Clinic has provided free health care to the uninsured and underinsured in the Cedar Rapids area since 1992. Providing both physical care and spiritual care, the clinic works to bring God glory by faithfully serving His people.

Did you know? Our monetary gifts to the Jalingo Orphanage arrived in Nigeria recently. Director Simon Benjamin wrote our PBC family to share that the generous gifts, totaling $6500, were used to pay 3 months of back salary for the staff and went a long way toward feeding the 100 children in residence right now. Love in action!

AA Alcoholics Anonymous Led by the Spirit, Mike Mango organized an AA meeting at PBC. Everyone is welcome; the only requirement is the desire to stop drinking. The group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. Connect: Mike Mango 
Al-Anon @ PBC Meeting here at PBC at same time as AA, Al-Anon is a program that offers help and hope for family and friends of alcoholics. Connect: Joyce Vail (319/560-5679). 
Growing the Church Campaign This capital campaign aims to retire our debt and tackle some remaining projects. Here is a campaign brochure and pledge form.
