Ash Wednesday We'll gather for an Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 pm at our new building.

High School Youth Join youth leaders and youth for an afternoon of bowling and fellowship on Sunday, Feb. 23. All meet at PBC's new building at 2:30 for carpooling to May City Bowl. Return to the church after bowling for dessert. Contact: Mathew and Mackenzie Grimm 319/530-6951 (Mat's cell). 
The Barbarian Way. Our Lent teaching both on Sunday mornings and via some Life Groups is inspired by the book The Barbarian Way by Erwin Raphael McManus. Pick up a copy of the book here. Used books available for just a dollar or two. The 4-week study begins March 1. 
Book of John Study—CHANGE Come together with others to study the book of John. Originally planned for an evening time, the study is now taking place on Wednesday afternoons. Ron Bunch is leading. Details: 1:30 to 3 pm, beginning 2/19; 4134 Water Point Court SW, CR; sign-up sheet at PBC. 
Kids Life Group Community + God’s Truth + Joy. Every Sunday Morning. Preschool through 6th grade. We're learning all about the life of Jesus for the next few weeks leading up to Easter. We'll see how the Bible shows us He was both a man and God. Our Lord and Savior!

Renovations Beginning We're organizing folks to help with initial renovations at our new building. Would you like to help? All skills needed! Here's a form to get the ball rolling. Fill it out and send to Mark Steffens (marksteffens77@gmail.com) or place in the Miracle Barn. Forms also available at PBC on Sunday.

• Praise for God's provision of a building. May our small efforts be magnified by God and bring Him glory.
• Prayers for the Holy Spirit to lead us each boldly for the cause of Christ. Transform our hearts so we want what you want Lord!
• Praise and thanks for the many folks who wielded a broom or hammer or read God's Word in our new space. You are doing mighty, mighty things Lord! 

Personal 

• Prayers for physical and spiritual strength for Shelly as she recovers form surgery and prepares for more procedures.
• Prayers for bold healing for Linda Anderson. Please provide a wise medical team to walk with Linda and flood her with divine peace as she moves through her days.
• Prayers for comfort for a family who lost of loved one in a fire near Walford last week. May your peace surround them Lord.
• Continued prayers for complete healing for Debbie as she recovers from a stroke following cardiac surgery.
