This Sunday Continuing in our Christmas series “Finding PEACE During the Holidays”, we’ll dig into understanding unrealized expectations. Scripture: Matthew 28:19–20.
During worship we'll meet the Bair family, missionaries from Brazil, and sharing how God’s message is going out in a land steeped in idol worship. It is Good News for all people!

Away in a Manger Join us for service Sunday, Dec 23 as the children share the story of Jesus birth in scripture and song. Pastor Craig will share a message and the children will retell the most magnificent story. Special note: we’ll have an extended practice for about 20 minutes after service on 12/16.

Jesse Tree for Advent We shared out more than 30 Jesse Tree packets last week! We pray that this simple tool is guides your family in purposeful anticipation of the birth of our Savior. More about the Jesse Tree here.

Kids Life Group Every week during the sermon preschoolers through 6th graders are invited to join our teachers to learn more about God, how we can be more like Him, and celebrate what He is doing right here, right now! 
 

Serve

Carols at Oakdale Prison Share the Good News with inmates through song on Dec. 20. Jolene Bowman is coordinating a group of 10 folks to sing carols. Sing with us! Call Jolene for more info: 319/551-2867.
Christmas giving at Prairie Hill Staff at Prairie Hill elementary put together an online donation site to help 25 Hill families in need. Click here and here to join others in sharing with these local families. PBC is contributing via our mission funds.
