Worship

Review: Yesterday, we learned the difference between persistent prayer and repetitious prayer in Luke 18:1-8. If you were unable to join us, you can listen on our website, or search "Prairie Bible Church Messages" on your favorite podcast app.

Prepare: Want to prepare for next Sunday's sermon? We will be diving into the parable of "The Pharisee and the Tax Collector" (Luke 18:9-14) on Sunday, October 29th. We will also take communion together as a church family.

THIS WEEK IN MINISTRY:
Tuesday (10/24):

• Women's Bible Study: Deb Hughes is leading a new women's Bible study on Tuesdays from 1:00-2:30 p.m. in the PBC education wing. This study will begin in Galatians and continue throughout Paul's epistles. All women are invited! Contact deb@hughesnursery.com for more info.
• Prayer Gathering: 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the gathering space. All are welcome! Please email Lysle.Regennitter@gmail.com for prayer requests/more info.

Wednesday (10/25):

• Note: There will be no Youth 412 or Salt & Light this week. We will resume our normal schedule next week on Wednesday, November 1st.

Thursday (10/26):

• Romans Study: 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the offices across from the church building. Please contact Ron Bunch (rjbunch@southslope.net) for more information.

Saturday (10/28):

• Women's Tea & Testimony: PBC Ladies, join us on Saturday, October 28th, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. for a time of fellowship and worship. Please RSVP at this link so we can prepare well.
• Men's Ministry Kickoff: Everett Eschen and Steve Exley-Schumann are launching a PBC men's group. This new ministry will begin meeting on Saturday, October 28th, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the PBC offices. All men are invited!

Sunday (10/29):

• New Testament Bible Study: 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the education wing. Reach out to Deb Hughes (deb@hughesnursery.com) for more info.
• Old Testament Bible Study: 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the education wing. Get in touch with John Wagner (john@wagnerjk.com) for more info.
• Worship Services & Kids' Life Group: 9:00 & 10:30 a.m. We can't wait to see you again!
• All-Church Meeting: Immediately following the second service, we will be hosting an all-church meeting to launch our capital campaign. Grab a coffee and snack, and plan to join us!

Coming Soon:

• Last Tuesday Coffee: Join us at 9:00 a.m. on October 31st in the Gathering Space for coffee and treats, hymns, a devotion, and prayer. Newcomers are always welcome!
• Christmas Chorus Rehearsals: John and Karen Wagner are leading a special choir for both services on December 17th. Everyone from middle school and up is invited to sing! Rehearsals begin on Sunday, November 5th, at 2:00 p.m. and continue Sunday afternoons until the choir service.

Service
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24)
