Sunday, August 16 from 1 to 4 pm. All incoming 4th through 8th graders welcome! It'll be full of Jesus and Joy. Count on Bible teaching, games, snacks, and swimming! Bible 101 Classes Find links to all the Bible 101 classes on our website. Led by Pastor Craig, this 4-class series was recently presented and is an awesome intro to the Bible. Handouts and videos of the classes are online for you! Worship @ the Farm this week—Kids Life Group! The kids are invited to come together for teaching, games, and community during the message. We're excited about sharing a lessons during the month of August about how God is powerful and because of that we have FAITH over fear. Serve Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Romans 12:11 Fabric Mask Update Our dedicated PBC seamstress Nancy Zahn crafted more than 300 masks for PBC over the last 4 months. She is transitioning to making masks for Prairie Schools now. Nancy is happy to make you a custom mask if you need. Just give her a ring: 319/558-6727. EXPO Dry Erase Markers For Prairie Our friends at Prairie Schools reached out to us with a need for EXPO dry erase markers. These tools are valuable for learners of all ages but especially the younger students. Prairie is hoping to collect 3,000 markers and PBC hopes to help! Bring your donations--any size, any color, just make sure they are EXPO brand—to Sunday service and place in the box near the Miracle Barn or drop them off at PBC in the designated box near the masks. Monetary donations are welcome. Mark them "Expo Markers" and place in the Miracle Barn. We'll collect markers through Sunday, August 9. Transform Week—August 31–Sept 4 Matthew 25 is hosting its annual Transform Week at the end of August. This community-centered project brings new life to properties in the Taylor and Time Check neighborhoods through light construction, painting, cleaning, and landscaping. All skill levels are welcome—construction experience isn't required. Most work days are from 8am to 3:30pm with lunch and snacks provided. Prairie Bible formed a team of volunteers join Transform Week the last 2 years. This year we'd like to target working as a team on Thursday, September 3. The Tomas family has secured locker space at Ruzicka's in Solon for the buyers. The hogs will be delivered to the locker after the sale and you can specify how the pork is processed.
