Romans 12:11 PBC July Ministry Spotlight: Summer Games University (SGU) A Christian summer camp for 6th through 12th graders, SGU's mission is to help students build authentic relationships with Jesus Christ through community and games. 10 students in the PBC community are going to SGU in Grinnell this July. Everyone is welcome; the only requirement is the desire to stop drinking. The group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. Connect: Mike Mango Al-Anon @ PBC Meeting here at PBC at same time as AA, Al-Anon is a program that offers help and hope for family and friends of alcoholics. Connect: Joyce Vail (319/560-5679). Growing the Church Campaign This capital campaign aims to retire our debt and tackle some remaining projects. Here is a campaign brochure and pledge form. Director Simon Benjamin wrote our PBC family to share that the generous gifts, totaling $6500, were used to pay 3 months of back salary for the staff and went a long way toward feeding the 100 children in residence right now.
